Graveyard: Revelations Persona

Added: 04.08.2013 11:19 | 17 views | 0 comments

Hardcore Gamer: When I was younger, my father brought home a PlayStation from Game Factor. With it, he brought several titles, including Duke Nukem and others I had fixed my gaze on ever since the demos I tried at Target or encountered in various magazines. Then, there was one solitary title that I hadnt yet heard of that piqued my interest: Revelations: Persona. Having never heard of the Shin Megami Tensei series prior, its needless to say I was quite ignorant as to what to expect, though after popping the silver-toned disc into the PlayStation for the first time, I know I never looked back. I became a MegaTen fan for life.

Game Review - Rise of the Triad - Blackman 'N Robin

Added: 04.08.2013 3:19 | 11 views | 0 comments

Rise of the Triad is a title that has gone by unnoticed for a long time. Even during its 1995 release, In spite of the games being downright crazy fun, was overlooked when titles such as Duke Nukem 3D or Quake came out a year after. However, there were a lot of fans for Rise of the Triad, and now in 2013, Frederik Schreiber along with his indie company, Interceptor Entertainment, are trying to bring the franchise back to life, and in all honesty, it very much is after the release.

Rise of the Triad Review (Strategy Informer)

Added: 01.08.2013 10:19 | 11 views | 0 comments

From Strategyinformer.com: "Rise of the Triad and me, we have history. It was my first-ever FPS on a PC and kicked off my lifelong love for the genre. Originally intended as a third-party sequel to id Softwares Wolfenstein 3D (the very idea!), rights issues transformed the title into a unique standalone title. Similarly, developer Interceptor originally got together to remake Duke Nukem 3D in Unreal Engine 3, before realising they could pick up Rise of the Triad for nothing, remake that, and charge money for it. Fair play to them. Shame one game is better than the other, and that the year and a half development time shows...".

PlayStation All-Stars: The PS4 Flagship Game That Should Have Been

Added: 22.07.2013 16:17 | 6 views | 0 comments

Rarely does a game stick with me for negative reasons, unless its just an absolute travesty like Superman 64 or Duke Nukem Forever. Stranger still is when a game continues to bother me for being exceedingly mediocre, which is why Im still bitter about PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale.

Deadpool Review | Tech Raptor

Added: 15.07.2013 17:17 | 8 views | 0 comments

Deadpool is the game that Duke Nukem wanted to be; action packed, hilarious, and as erratic as Deadpools personalities. With a great mix of humor, bloodshed, fast paced combat, and customization, the game came out much better than I had personally expected. With that said, the game mixes a pretty generic combat style with an erratically funny, and somewhat confusing story. With the game being as multifaceted and crazy as Deadpool himself, if you love crude humor, jokes that really shouldnt be funny, killing things, and hack n slash combat, then Deadpool is the game for you!

Duke Nukem II (iOS) | FTG Review

Added: 12.07.2013 5:16 | 12 views | 0 comments

FTG Writes: If I were Duke Nukem, Id be pissed. Not because I obviously had some sort of chip on my shoulder that I make up with an abundance of testosterone and machismo, but because of all the games from my era, my franchise gets the worst treatment. Shadow Warrior is looking badass. Rise of the Triad is on track to rock the world. Duke Nukem Forever is found in the Gamestop used bins for $3.00. Sadly, it deserves to be there. Perhaps in a move to capitalize on the hatred that swirls about for Duke these days, or to simply rekindle some nostalgia to bring favor back to Americas favorite anti-hero (Id like to hope its the second), Interceptor Entertainment has brought the side-scrolling predecessor Duke Nukem II to iOS. Is it as fun as I remember it being? Or will it make me want to kick a Battlelord in its junk?
